About us
The
firm’s founder and Managing Director is Mary Humphreys-Roberts a
business analyst and project manager with over 20 year’s experience
predominantly with blue chip companies. After graduating in Accountancy
and Economics from the University of Leeds, Mary joined IBM as their first
female Systems Engineer in the North of England. This work involved defining
the system requirements for new computer users, designing appropriate applications
and managing the build and implementation of these systems.
Hands-on experience of managing a wide variety of challenging projects has been gained working for some of the leading UK companies including:
- P & O
- KPMG Management Consulting
- United Utilities
- IBM (UK)
In addition Mary has spent a number of years working as a freelance consultant either engaged directly with clients or working with smaller consultancies leading ad hoc teams of suitably qualified professionals when appropriate. This has covered a range of activities including:
- designing and implementing new IT systems
- changing ways of working after reviewing and critically analysing current
processes
- job evaluation
